Megha Garg, MS, TLLP
Megha Garg is a limited licensed clinician under the supervision of Dr. Deborah Simpson, a fully licensed psychologist at Arbor Psychology Group. Megha is currently a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology at Eastern Michigan University and plans to attain full licensure as a clinical psychologist in the near future.
Megha has had significant experience working with adolescents and adults with a wide range of presenting concerns including self-esteem and self-image, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, limiting beliefs and emotional patterns, and transition and adjustment issues.
Megha embraces a strength-based and holistic approach to therapy by considering the importance of individual, cultural, family, and communal variables in her clients’ lives. Megha incorporates several modalities into her work including cognitive-behavioral therapies, mindfulness-based interventions, and psychodynamic-oriented therapy. She believes that no two individuals are the same, and as such, treatment should be tailored to meet the unique needs of each person.
Megha is dedicated to creating a safe and non-judgmental space for her clients to grow and heal. Megha’s goals are to empower her clients to gain greater insight into their inner selves, nurture their self-healing ability, and inspire positive change. She believes that with her help, her clients will learn the tools to feel better than before.
Currently, Megha is taking appointments on Mondays and has availability in the mornings and early afternoons.
