Lindsay King, PhD

Dr. King joins Arbor Psychology Group (APG) with more than 15 years of experience in assessment. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University in 2008. She completed her internship at a Level I trauma hospital in Minneapolis, MN and completed her postdoctoral training at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center. Dr. King has worked with a variety of populations, including veterans, medically complex and rehabilitation patients, as well as various forms of trauma. She has clinical training and experience with several gold standard assessment measures, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – 2nd Edition (ADOS-2). Dr. King conducts psychological assessments for a wide range of patients, ranging in age from school age (age 5-6) to older adults (age 70-80). She is skilled at assessing a variety of conditions, including neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g. autism-spectrum and ADHD) and psychiatric symptoms (e.g. trauma and anxiety). Dr. King takes both a diagnostic and conceptual approach to symptoms and takes the time to explain complex developmental and psychological concepts in language patients, parents and families can understand.
