Ray Noell, LLMSW

Ray Noell is a Limited Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in work with children, adolescents, and families. Ray holds a Bachelors in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Gender Studies. Ray has held roles that have included preschool teaching, caregiving, and tutoring. Ray is a recent graduate with an MSW degree from the University of Michigan School of Social Work under the Welfare of Children and Families pathway. She completed a year-long internship at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan working to advance mental health amongst children with chronic illness and their families.

Ray believes children have the potential to learn self-regulation, emotional responsibility, and build a toolbox of coping skills that they can carry with them into adulthood. Kids can sometimes hold a lot of big feelings that they may not have the words to express. Using mindfulness, collaboration, and warmth, Ray hopes to provide children and adolescents a space to explore their mental health. She holds the therapeutic relationship very highly in her practice with not just the client, but their family as well. Ray believes a solid and healthy caregiver relationship is key to the success of a child in therapy.

Ms. Noell is directly supervised by Dr. Carolyn Dayton.
