Allie Young-Rivard, MA, LPC

Allie (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. She earned her graduate degree from Oakland University and began her career in early intervention for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), which ignited her passion for supporting individuals and their families.

Allie has led mindfulness groups focused on burnout and offers programs that emphasize balance, self-compassion, boundaries, and stress reduction. She works with children, adults, families, and couples, specializing in areas such as anxiety, anger management, women’s health, assertive communication, ADHD, parenting support, and life transitions. Her therapeutic approach integrates Humanistic principles, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

In addition to her client work, Allie provides supervision to limited licensed clinicians. She is dedicated to mentoring emerging professionals and fostering their development in the field.
