Megan Price, LLMSW

Megan Price (she/her/hers) is a Limited License Master Social Worker in the state of Michigan. Megan earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan, with a concentration in Welfare of Children and Families. She has recent experience working in public education as a School Social Worker and is knowledgeable in school-based interventions such as Individualized Education Plans, 504s, Functional Behavior Assessments, and Behavior Intervention Plans. She has a background of working with adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder, cognitive impairment, emotional impairment, and learning disabilities.

Megan has experience and a passionate interest in working with adolescents and young adults and has helped them address anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem, insecurity, social deficits, emotional regulation, and relational conflict. Megan believes creating a caring, supportive, and warm environment for her clients, and a focus on collaboration is essential to success in the therapeutic space. Believing each person is unique with different needs, Megan utilizes a variety of strengths-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), social-emotional curriculums, mindfulness, attachment theories, books, journaling, art, and games. She believes in meeting her clients where they are by providing a safe space to grow, learn, and challenge themselves.
