Kristine Gardner, LMSW

Kristine Gardner (she, her, hers) is a fully licensed clinical social worker in the state of Michigan. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from The University of Michigan and her Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University. Kristine has experience in outpatient and inpatient behavioral health care, palliative care, and crisis intervention.

Kristine has helped adolescents, adults, families, and couples address a variety of mental health symptoms and related stressors, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, substance-use disorders, adjustment to illness, emotional regulation, identity development, relational conflict, and grief. She tailors her approach to each client based on their strengths, needs, and goals.

Kristine utilizes a variety of evidence-based practices and theories, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Family Systems Therapy (FST), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, and Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT). Kristine approaches every therapeutic relationship with optimism and eagerness. She has a vested interest in helping each person achieve their therapeutic goals.
