Does Your Husband Have ADHD?
Are you confused by the chaos that is your life? Do you feel like you are constantly reacting to fires? Are you frustrated and angry about carrying the mental load for your family?
There’s a lot to work through and think about when you are married to a partner with ADHD.
Let Arbor Psychology be a resource for you via our non-ADHD partner support group.
This support group for non-ADHD partners is led by Kathleen Pierson. Each session focuses on one or two topics a week for in-depth exploration. Participants support each other, explore their biggest issues and most pressing problems, and get advice from the group leader – and from each other. Group leader and other group participants will help you develop strategies for finding acceptance and contentment. The objectives of the support group are to:
- Gain education on ADHD
- Have you be part of a community of people exploring similar issues
- Learn from each other’s successes and struggles
- Find new, more effective ways to communicate with your ADHD partner
