Samantha Levick, Ph.D.

Dr. Samantha Levick (she, her, hers) is a licensed psychologist who specializes in pediatric neuropsychology. She earned her BA in Psychology and Women’s Studies from the University of Michigan and her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit and her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan. From her training in outpatient and inpatient medical settings, Dr. Levick has experience with a range of conditions including traumatic brain injury (TBI) and concussion, stroke, seizure disorders, genetic conditions, cerebral palsy, pediatric cancers, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, craniofacial conditions, and other neurological conditions, as well as neurodevelopmental disorders such as developmental delays, learning disorders, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder. She has worked with children and families ranging from infancy through young adulthood. She particularly enjoys collaborating with schools and other specialties to provide holistic, integrated care.

As a neuropsychologist, Dr. Levick seeks to help families understand how the brain and behavior are related. Through a therapeutic lens, she aims to explain how a child’s neuropsychological profile is connected with their functioning at home, in school, and in the community. Most importantly, she leverages her backgrounds in clinical psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, and parent management training to provide thorough and well-rounded intervention recommendations that are tailored to each child and family.

Outside of work, you can find Dr. Levick cooking, baking, hiking, traveling, singing in her choir, going to concerts and the theatre, and spending time with her family and friends.
