Carrie Booth, LMSW
Carrie Booth (she, her, hers) is a fully licensed clinical social worker in the state of Michigan. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Western Michigan University. Carrie has experience in the areas of reproductive health care, end of life care, and has over a decade of experience working with children. Carrie has recent experience in public schools and has familiarity with Individualized Education Programs, 504s, and school behavior intervention plans.
Carrie has helped children and adolescents to address anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, social skill deficits, emotional regulation, identity development, relational conflict, and self esteem issues. She utilizes an eclectic approach to meet each child’s needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, play therapy approaches, the CASEL framework, attachment theories, mindfulness techniques, and psychodynamic approaches. Carrie believes in building therapeutic relationships with unconditional positive regard and honoring the humanity in each of the children she works with.
