Maggie Kelly, LMSW, PMH-C
Margaret (Maggie) Kelly (she, her, hers) is a licensed clinical social worker in the State of Michigan. She completed her dual Master’s degrees in Social Work and Public Health at the University of Michigan. Prior to her work at Arbor Psychology Group, Maggie was a hospital social worker and psychotherapist at Michigan Medicine for fourteen years, specializing in perinatal mental health issues and pregnancy loss. She has her certification in Perinatal Mental Health therapy through Postpartum Support International.
Maggie has experience and interest in relationship issues, adjustment to life transitions, issues with family of origin, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and other mood concerns. She has additional training with couples, sexual health, self-compassion, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Maggie uses a non-judgmental and validating stance to help clients heal and grow, incorporating elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and self-compassion. She strives to provide an empathetic and supportive environment for clients to grow and learn to be well.
