Post-MSW Child/Adolescent Fellowship

Ann Arbor’s Arbor Psychology Group is pleased to announce a Post-MSW Child/Adolescent Fellowship for the next academic year- beginning September, 2026. We are seeking applicants for this fellowship from students currently in a MSW program or who have graduated and are still in the process of completing their hours for licensure.

To Apply

If you feel called to make a difference in the lives of children and families — and you’re eager to grow inside a practice that will invest in you— we’d love to hear from you. Apply today to become part of the Arbor Psychology Group team.

Applications will be accepted until May 1st.

Training Opportunity:

Fellows will have opportunities to provide therapy to children/adolescents/families, lead groups, and provide parent behavior management coaching. Fellows will also have opportunities to shadow, consult, and co-treat with our occupational therapists and speech-language therapists to provide multidisciplinary/integrated care.

Fellowship Experience

Not every fellowship is built the same. This one was built intentionally.

Some fellowships stack trainees. Some offer supervision on paper but not in practice. Some leave you to figure out your clinical identity on your own.

Arbor Psychology Group’s MSW Fellowship is different — because we believe the way you’re trained shapes the clinician you become.

Benefits

  • W-2 employment with a generous fee-split, healthcare coverage, retirement matching, malpractice insurance, and paid time off
  • 2 hours of individual supervision weekly
  • 2 didactic seminars per month
  • Monthly group consultation alongside fully-licensed clinicians
  • Training grounded in neurobiology/sensory processing/emotion regulation, trauma, attachment, family systems, and cognitive-behavioral theory

  • An emotionally-safe culture where our team respects and learns from one another
  • Quarterly staff bonding events that nurture relationships and team wellbeing
  • Steady client referrals & marketing support
  • Phenomenal administrative and billing support
  • Access to office space and play-room for in-person sessions
  • Flexibility to provide telehealth sessions from home or the office

  • Following the fellowship, there may be an opportunity to stay on as a fully licensed team member

Ideal Candidates

An LLMSW who knows they want to specialize in children, adolescents, and families — and who thinks deeply and intentionally about the people they serve. Someone who resists one-size-fits-all explanations and can conceptualize and treatment plan from a comprehensive range of perspectives. Someone who is eager to get on the floor and play, make art, get a little messy, and show up fully in the room with kids. And someone who is passionate about learning from others and working collaboratively — across disciplines, across perspectives, and across the complexity of what it means to be human.

We expect fellows to schedule 22 clients/week, with 14 sessions scheduled in-person during after school hours.
