Natalie Quinn, LLMSW

Natalie (she/her) is a limited license social worker in the state of Michigan. She is passionate about youth mental health and cultural sensitivity, and is especially interested in the relationship between change at the individual level and that at the systemic level. Natalie received her Master’s degree from the University of Michigan School of Social Work and has experience as a school-based therapist. Prior to receiving her MSW, Natalie worked as an educator with students and families in literacy tutoring, and as an elementary and kindergarten teacher in South Korea and Guatemala, where she developed an appreciation for the interplay between culture, school climate, social-emotional needs, and academics.

Natalie works with children, adolescents, and their families to address concerns related to trauma, anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence. Her clinical approach is eclectic, though primarily relational, and is grounded in attachment theory and systems theory. Natalie incorporates a variety of techniques into her practice, tailoring treatment to the individual and family. Methods she uses include: expressive arts-based techniques, play-based methods, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, adventure therapy, family therapy, and narrative therapy.

In her free time, Natalie enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking/baking, yoga, climbing, art, and exploring new places.
