Maria Mulhauser
Maria has experience working with a diverse population to address a wide variety of presenting problems, including depression, anxiety, attachment issues, grief, trauma, and relationship issues. She has previously practiced therapy both in private practice and in a foster care agency setting.
Maria is a certified Imago Relationship therapist. Imago is a couples therapy approach that facilitates emotional connection and effective communication between partners. Maria also uses a variety of other treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and psychodynamic strategies.
Maria strives to cultivate a safe, confidential, and nonjudgmental environment in which clients can feel heard and understood. She is an LBGTQ+ affirming therapist. Maria received her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College. Prior to that, she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Calvin College.
